Boston is my home town, my adopted city, the catalyst and inspiration for my work.
Yesterday, Boston showed to the world the qualities which drew me to her. Thousands of Bostonians opened their homes to complete strangers. Thousands offered their blood to help the victims. And with each act of kindness, their only thoughts were, “what more can I do?” Boston was not torn apart by this senseless act, it was united.
In winter, Boston can be a cold, austere place, but its people are ever warm and generous.
Makeover for the Web Site
The groundhog said it’s going to be an early Spring, so we got a head start on the Spring Cleaning at the web site. The
makeover allow us to better showcase book extracts, trailers and animations. It also looks great on smaller tablets, such as the Kindle Fire and Nook Book.
Banned Books Week
Banned Books Week runs from September 30th to October 6th. Visit a library or bookstore and protect your right to choose.
Happy Holidays
What a year 2011 turned out to be! From the City of Boston, who wished me Happy Birthday in April by hosting the World Premiere of THERE BE MONSTERS! to the My Hero International Film Festival Awards Ceremony in December, to the publication of FISSION and all the great reviews and compliments which it has received, I cannot think of a more memorable or fun year.
So at this time of year, with the holidays upon us, I wanted to thank you for being a part of it and supporting me and my work.
I hope you have a safe and happy holiday. I, of course, will celebrate the FIRST NIGHT by raising a glass to salute you.
